Recently, Shoes & Shirts has started to carry a nice collection of ladies' footwear. When it comes to the top-segment, in contrast to men's shoes, ladies normally have to deal with collections that are very fashion-inspired, and therefore not made or meant to last long. In line with the philosophy that we follow with all our other products, the items in this ladies' collection have been cherry-picked with elegance and durability in mind. One of our favourite makers to work with, as the material quality and construction are consistently very good. These models are Goodyear welted, in order to provide its wearers with good stability and multiple resoling possibilities. Although this construction might make them feel a bit rigid in the beginning, these shoes will give ultimate comfort for a very long time once broken in. We carry a chelsea boot and a double monk, both available in black and tan colours. Also, a very ladylike tassel loafer belongs to the options.
As their headquarters are located only a stone's throw from the Crockett & Jones factory in Northampton, England, and their products are made with the same quality of materials and care, we are equally enthousiast about our new ladies' collection from Church's. In a beautifully polished black shade, we present a humble collection of shoes of which the male equivalent has grown to be extremely popular over the decades. This maker began producing in the French Alsace region, with its focus on durable shoes that are 'made for walking'. While they have achieved to design an elegantly looking collection of ladies' shoes, they have not traded in their focus. These models will prove to be amazing for every day use, especially during the colder seasons. In the weekend of november 18th, we will have the valued people from Heschung as guests in our store in Maastricht. Our valued maker of gentleman's slippers, Bowhill & Elliott, has also been making ladies' models for some time. With the launch of our ladies' collection, we decided to start carrying a modest selection of slippers as well. In constrast to their men's slippers, the vamp is rounded off in order to look more elegant. Also, these models have been outfitted with newly developed soles, which resemble leather, but are built up from rubber. Especially when worn outside of the house, this will prove to be quite convenient.
